Commit to Responsible Nature Photography~

I have been a part of the League of Landscape Photographers, a group of photographers committed to ethical practices, conservation, and Leave No Trace principals for over a year. A few days ago one of my favorite intimate landscape photographers here in the US, Sarah Marino reached out sharing about a grassroots effort a handful of US landscape photographers are starting right here in our own backyard. I applaud her and her cohorts' efforts to bring awareness to the challenges currently facing these treasures of the American Landscape. This morning I got up early to join Nature First Photography and update the Code of Ethics on my website. As a nature lover, landscape photographer, and workshop leader I'm making a commitment to you my family, friends, and followers that I will "help conserve the places we love and photograph through wise use, education, outreach, community, and research." Join me in putting #naturefirst. Jump over to my Code of Ethics to read more about my commitment or checkout Nature First for yourself and join the growing group of photographers both professionals and enthusiasts who are passionate about preserving nature's beauty and implementing sustainable Leave No Trace practices when enjoying and photographing the outdoors. Together we can preserve these incredible places for our children and future generations.
